Spotted! New Wet N Wild Polishes-Fergie Collection

Hello darlings!
As some of you may know, Fergie is the new(ish) global beauty ambassador for Wet N Wild Cosmetics. This is the first LE line they have come out with together so far.

Here are the ones I picked up:

Heels of Steel: A charcoal/black bases packed with gunmetal silver glitter. Opaque in one coat.
Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night: Clear base with small black glitters and larger gold hex pieces.
Miami Spirit: A very green teal (the pic looks more blue) with ultra fine blue and green shimmer. Dries matte, but looks great with a glossy topcoat.
Hollywood Wall of Fame: Lots of different color stars, bars and tiny square glitters in a clear base.
All swatches are two coats

NOTD-Miami Spirit with Hollywood Wall of Fame on the Ring Finger and a glossy topcoat.

So far I like these. The colors are beautiful and go on very nicely without streaking. It has a flat wide(ish) brush that is much easier to work with and a bit smaller than the ones from the Spoiled line. I'm tempted to go back and get a few more colors :) Has anyone else seen these yet? What do think?

Spring Into Color: Neon Nails

Hello dears!
So one of the hottest trends this spring is neons, and what easier way to wear them than on your fingers and toes? There are so many beautiful neon polishes out right now and I picked up a few the other day. After applying several coats they weren't coming out anywhere near as bright as in the bottle. So how do you get the most out of these ultra bright colors? Simple. Use a white nail polish as a base and then one or two coats of your favorite neon to get that intense color payoff.
So this is with 2 coats, 4 coats and then 1 coat over a white base. Can you see what a big difference it makes?

Here are the neon manis I have been rocking this week:

This was my neon tie-dye gradient attempt using a makeup sponge. What do you think?

Hope this helps!

Pick of The Week

Happy Monday!

I bring to you another pick of the week from Jesse's Girl Cosmetics, this time it's a High Intensity Nail Color in the shade Confetti. I picked this one up a while ago and you may notice I have used it in a couple of my NOTD. For only $2.99 its pretty amazing how many different ways I have been able to use this nail polish. I can take just about any shade of blue or purple polish throw some Confetti on it and I have a brand new look. It's relatively sheer by itself and would probably only wear it on top of other colors. The sparkle is ultra fine and more iridescent than a chunky glitter.

Here are three ways I use it!

Mini Room Tour!

Hello Beautiful People!
Remember my DIY Organization post from about a week ago? Well that got me thinking that you may want to see how I store the rest of my jewelry, my ever-growing nail polish collection, and take a peak in my closet. I've been enjoying making videos, please let me know if you like this format or if you'd prefer everything in text/picture form. Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend! Hope you enjoy!

DIY Organizing!

Hey guys!
I thought I would share with you a few ideas that I have used to help me organize a few things. I like to be able to see everything that I have, so that I can decide what I want to use,

Here is how I store my nail polishes. I used this video as a template to make it. It's just foam board and hot glue, surprisingly sturdy for only about $3.

This is a pizza pan that I hung with ribbon, and then hot glued magnets to the back of my single shadows. Total cost $8.

I did this the other day. I just nailed up some gold ribbon and hooked my earrings on them. Total cost $1

Hope this gave you all some ideas!

Beautiful Travels

It's always so hard to decide what beauty items to pack when going on a trip. Should you just bring the bare essentials? Or enough to be prepared for anything? I probably over-pack when it comes to beauty related items, but that's because I almost never pre-plan a look, I just look at what I'll be wearing and make it up as I go.
I meant to have this video up before I left for Thanksgiving, but that didn't really work out. So I hope this helps if you are planning to go out of town for the winter holidays!

A few edits: When I got to security (TSA) they informed me that everything was supposed to be in a 1 quart bag not a 1 gallon bag. OOPS! Also, I don't know what I was thinking, but my foundation, tm, night cream, and nail polish was also supposed to be in the bag. Again, my bad.

Adopt A Polish this Holiday Season!

Feeling in the holiday spirit? Looking to give back? Here is a fun cause to get behind! It's called AdoptAPolish.org, and they are looking to give beautiful nailpolishes a good and caring home :)

“We have so many polishes who need a good family to take them in” said AdoptAPolish.org executive director Nikki Smith. “All it takes is filling out an application form describing how you can provide a better life for one of our in need nail polishes. We select the best application and take care of all the expenses, delivering your newly adopted polish directly to your door.”
Please don’t let the agony go on any longer than it has to. The first round of adoptions closes December 31st. Apply to Adopt a Polish at http://www.adoptapolish.org/category/current-adoptions/
How cute is that? I've already submitted my application for Charleston and Angelina. Who would you like to give a good home to?

Pick of the Week

Happy Monday!

Ok so Mondays usually are not so happy, but maybe this will perk you up a bit. As promised here is my pick of the week, under $5.00 of course.

In Honor of Halloween, I wanted to find a great orange product to sport this week. I went shopping...nothing. I went home and started digging through my nail polishes and found I already had a great orange in my collection.

This Pick of the Week is Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Sun Kissed, this will run you about $4.00 at most retailers.

I am not a fan of all things Sally Hanson, but I do really enjoy their Complete Salon Manicure line and the Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear line, it drys pretty quickly and lasts as long as my higher end nail polishes.

I "borrowed" this picture from a fellow beauty blogger, The Nailtress. I unfortunately am not that great at doing my own nails.
